Lesson Plan Reflection!

I felt that my lesson plan went very well. At the beginning when I asked about the different kinds of clocks, they would try their best to think of different kinds of clocks, and they would tell me about them. When we did the clock activity on the floor, they were very enthusiastic about it. They got to get up and move around and work with clocks hands on. Most of them did this very easily, but if they didn't get it, I would step in and help them without giving them the exact answer. Nobody got very frustrated, and they seemed to enjoy this part of the lesson.
I gave them the worksheet and turned on the smartboard. I did the first 3 clocks on the worksheet to show them what they needed to do. For the next 3 clocks, I would call random students up to the board to complete one in front of everyone, because sometimes students can learn better from each other rather than someone in "authority". For the last three clocks on the worksheet, I let them do it by themselves. When I looked over the worksheets, over half of the class got the questions right, and that was my goal!
I was very pleased with the outcome of my lesson!!
